Born 1970 in Bogotá. Studied visual arts at the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano and Philosophy and Literature at the Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá.

Attended postgraduate studies at the „Akademie der bildenden Künste“ [Academy of Fine Arts] in Nuremberg and at the UdK [University of Arts], Berlin. Individual exhibitions in Colombia, Spain, Turkey and Germany. Group exhibitions and artistic actions in Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain and the United States.
Distinctions: Jorge Tadeo Lozano prize for academic excellence, scholarship at the Universidad del Rosario to study philosophy, KAAD scholarship to study in Nuremberg, and project scholarship for young creation at the Colombian Culture Institute COLCULTURA (today Ministry of Culture). Collective projects: daily services, together with the visual artist Angélica Chio (www.dailyservices.net). daily services got the first prize at the V Bienal Internacional de Venecia Bogotá 2003 [V International Venice Biennale Bogotá 2003].
