Presented metaphorically or more literally, the act of moving traverses various historical and biographical times, though each individual carries with them the reason for their own vicissitudes. Often, these displacements are forced by conflicts and threats to ethnic and identity groups or by movements resulting from socioeconomic injustices within a country.

In this Estalo, drawing, painting, and video are imbued with the sweat of insomnia and blurred by tears of farewell. Watching the landscape pass quickly in the rearview mirror is not a passive stance in the face of reality but rather the restlessness about expectations for the future and the melancholic revolt of leaving one's own land.
