Meetings with Educators

Since March 2022, the 13th Biennial's Educational Project has been promoting the Meetings with Educators series with the aim of establishing and strengthening connections and paths of direct dialogue between the Biennial's Educational Department and educators, in order to discuss and understand their expectations, contingencies, and pedagogical strategies, promoting the appropriation of contemporary art and its processes as a practice and thought capable of making us reflect on our daily lives and expanding our understanding of the reality and historical context in which we live.

Through these meetings, we intend to enhance the role of educators as agents of the pedagogical project of the 13th Biennial, activating situations of dialogue and sharing of experiences with the aim of expanding, beyond the exhibition spaces and the exhibition period, discussions on contemporary artistic production.

In partnership with the Education Departments of several municipalities and the State of Rio Grande do Sul, the aim is to serve more than 300 teachers of Basic, Elementary and Secondary Education by the end of September 2022.
