BALL SNAP

The Estalo Ball marks a historic moment: it's the first mainstream ball held in Rio Grande do Sul, part of the public program of the 14th Mercosul Biennial. Produced by the Iconic House of Mizrahi, the ball features categories specifically designed around the Biennial's curatorial concept, "Estalo," which proposes shifts, ruptures, and new possibilities. The colors of the Biennial also inspire the aesthetics and looks of this unprecedented edition.

As part of Estalo Ball's unique offering, we'll have an exclusive Grand Prize created especially for the occasion, as well as a brand-new vogue beat, with a Brazilian essence, designed to get you in the mood for the event.

Ballroom culture, born in the trans, Black, and Latinx communities of New York, is a movement of resistance, belonging, and aesthetic creation. In Porto Alegre, this culture has been thriving since 2019, with the first ballroom in the state, and since then, the scene has only grown, filling the city with art and affirmation.

Responsible for organizing the Estalo Ball, the Iconic House of Mizrahi was founded in 1992 by Icon André Mizrahi and is one of the most respected houses in the international ballroom scene. Mizrahi's presence in Brazil strengthens this legacy with care, representation, and commitment to culture.

Estalo Ball is more than an event; it's a milestone. A collective act that reaffirms the right to the city, to art, and to existence.
