Sobre o evento

The Ling Institute is delighted to welcome Cuiabá-based artist Gervane de Paula to create a unique artistic intervention on one of the institution's walls. From March 24th to 28th , the public will be able to witness the creation of the new work, performed live during the cultural center's opening hours, for free . The creative process, techniques, and movements will be visible during the production. Once completed, the work will be on display for viewing until May 31st, with free admission.

The activity is part of the project LING presents: When Borders Dissolve, curated by Paulo Henrique Silva, which aims to bring Rio Grande do Sul closer to the culture of the Central-West, bringing visual artists from the region to develop new works at the cultural center.

After the mural is completed, the curator will present an overview of recent art from the Central-West region, and the artist will discuss the experience and the results in a chat with the audience on Saturday, March 29th, at 11:00 am . Register for free.

This activity is also part of the 14th Mercosul Biennial program. Registration is available at: https://www.eventbrite.com.br/e/conversa-com-artista-e-curador-ling-apresenta-gervane-de-paula-tickets-1296880808409?aff=oddtdtcreator
