EVENTS AND COURSES

Five meetings held in October and November with spaces for debate and exchange of knowledge on art, culture, education and women's issues.

Nosotras Prononemos will be carrying out joint activities with artists from Porto Alegre during the 33rd Art Festival. Three artists from Rio Grande do Sul were selected as the basis for the initiative: Claudia Paim, Heloisa Schneiders, and Maria Magliani. From these selections, a process of identifying the artists began.

With a theme about the feminine universe and the relationships between art, feminism and emancipation, the 33rd Porto Alegre City Art Festival brings exhibitions, performances, workshops and cinema to the capital of Rio Grande do Sul.

Meeting to discuss the agenda of contemporary transgender and intersex feminism, which debates the simultaneity of social oppressions: sexism, racism, homophobia, xenophobia, classism.

In the Resistance Doll Workshop, with educators Aline Deorristt and Andy Marques, participants will learn the stories of Abayomi and Quitapeña, two dolls with different origins, one African and the other Indigenous, but both symbols of resistance.

At 4 pm, "Body Crossings: Dialogues with Mary Evans" is scheduled, a drawing workshop that takes place outdoors and features the participation of educators Aline Deorristt and Ana Claudia Cabral.
