Itinerant Cultural Center Project, 2025 with Gabriel Chaile

The Mobile Cultural Center is a prototype of an oven, a mobile sculpture, and a relational object. The device, designed in an open and participatory manner by Gabriel Chaile , can operate in different contexts and activate multiple social and affective dynamics.

Drawing from Argentine "pots populaires," where sharing the act of cooking and food are gestures of cooperation, as well as formal elements of Tucumán's Candelaria culture that permeate Chaile's practice, the oven resulting from this process is an act of collective construction and distributed ownership. Its activation and future circulations are testament to the involvement of diverse people through teaching, dialogue, and experimentation.

The activity will begin at the Mario Quintana Cultural Center and head to Tambor Square, promoting interaction with the urban space. Upon arrival at the Usina, the oven will be lit, beginning the preparation of food that will be served to the public.
