Rodrigo Cass
(Brazil, 1983)
Rodrigo Cass (Brazil, 1983) holds a degree in Fine Arts from Faculdade Santa Marcelina and studied Philosophy and Theology at the Jesuit College in Belo Horizonte. His works move between techniques such as video projections, paintings, and sculptures that examine the notions of transcendence, abstraction, religiosity, movement, mystery, and their relationship with the human body. His work has been exhibited at the Tomie Ohtake Institute, the Lyon Museum of Contemporary Art, the Astrup Fearnley Museum, and the Jewish Museum, among other museums and institutions. The artist has works in important collections such as the Pompidou Center, TBA21, and the Pampulha Art Museum. He lives in São Paulo, Brazil.
